Die vorliegende Erfindung kennzeichnet sich durch eine Vereinigung an sich bekannter Mittel zum Auftragen von Flüssigkeiten auf Stoffbahnen. Diese Vereinigung ermöglichtes, die Flüssigkeit in so geringen Mengen und doch gleichmäßig auf den Stoff zu übertragen, wie man es bisher nicht erreichen konnte. Vorzugsweise soll die neue Vorrichtung dazu benutzt werden, den Faserflaum eines Ge- webes oberflächlich so anzufärben, daß der Gewebegrund wenig oder gar nicht mitfärbt, anders gefärbt ist und durchleuchtet, wodurch die Ware je nach Lage und Beleuchtung, besonders aber beim Falten außer einem vollen und sammetartigen Aussehen ein stets wechselndes, schimmerndes Farbenspiel erhält.The present invention is characterized by a combination of known per se Means for applying liquids to webs of fabric.
