Description
In the reproduction of telegraphone meetings it has been shown that besides the the desired magnetic writing of the speech currents in the case of other magnetizations The recording of the wire will be imprinted, causing a distortion of the speech and produce annoying noises. It has not yet succeeded in these operations to be completely cleared up. Experiments have shown that a major cause of such Disturbances represent the mechanical vibrations of the telegraph wire. These Vibrations occur when the telegraph wire runs off and occur in the field of the Work magnets. These disruptive vibrations are not even in known arrangements eliminated, where the working wire led in front of and behind the speech cores, is.
The object of the present invention is concerned with remedying these Evils. The idea of the invention can be seen in the fact that all movements of the telegraph wire relative to the working magnet except for the one prescribed in the Longitudinal direction of the wire taking place off. According to the invention this is achieved in such a way that the magnet system is suspended directly on the work wire and on the working wire in sleeves made of a hard, smooth material, e.g. B. agate, glass, Porcelain, etc., is guided in such a way that it takes part in the transverse vibrations of the working wire, the distance between The end face of the magnet and the piece of wire to be magnetized remains the same.
The essence of the invention is explained using various exemplary embodiments.
Abb. Fig. Ι is a vertical section of an inventive Telegraphone arrangement, Fig. 2 is a top view and Fig. 3 is a side elevation.
In Abb. In Fig. Ι α is a drum from which the telegraph wire b runs down in the direction shown and runs onto the drum c . The working wire is threaded into two +5 guides d and e at A and B. These guides consist primarily of a very hard and smooth material through which the working wire can slide with very little friction. Bearings made of stone, porcelain and glass are particularly suitable for this purpose. In the exemplary embodiment, d and e are made of agate. These guides are in turn fastened to the carrier plate f, which can be conveniently easily exchanged and which have two bearing blocks g and h for this purpose. The working magnet, which should consist of the core i and the coil k , is also attached to the plate /. The magnet system is carried by the work wire itself.
Wenn der Arbeitsdraht in die Führungen auf Gleitsitz eingeschliffen ist, so macht der Magnet alle Schwingungen und Erzitterungen des Drahtes mit, so daß die Lage des Magneten relativ zu dem gegenüberliegendenWhen the working wire is ground into the guides with a sliding fit, it does Magnet all vibrations and tremors of the wire with, so that the position of the magnet is relative to the opposite
Piece of wire always remains the same. In particular, the distance ^ between magnetic core i and the piece of wire at point C does not change in the present exemplary embodiment. However, this is precisely what matters if the disturbances mentioned at the beginning are to be eliminated. So that a magnetization proportional to the size of the speech currents is impressed on the wire, the working wire must be led past the magnet at point C at the same distance as possible. It is necessary that the change caused by the speech currents is not superimposed on any magnetization caused by a change in position. One can also say that the permanent magnetization of the magnetic core is superimposed on the magnetization of the speech currents. The pre-magnetization of the working wire by the permanent magnetism of the magnetic core is a type of pre-tension which is expediently chosen so that the operating point comes to lie approximately in the middle of the magnetic characteristic. So that the premagnetization really remains the same, the field strength dependent on the position, ie the position of the magnet, must remain the same relative to the piece of wire to be magnetized. Since the telegraphone operation is a matter of very small intensities, this condition cannot be adhered to sharply enough. Tests have shown that this distance is to be kept to within a tolerance of a few hundredths of a millimeter, if possible.
In order for the device shown in Figs. 1 to 3 to work properly, another device must be made that the working wire does not take it with it when it moves through the guide of the magnet when it slides through. As can be seen from Fig. 2, this object is achieved in the present embodiment in such a way that spatially fixed rails I, m, η and ο are arranged, which leave the flexural vibrations of the wire leeway, but prevent lateral movement of the magnet.
What has so far been carried out for the writing magnet to work properly, more or less also applies to the extinguishing magnet, which can also be attached to the same carrier plate. There is no difficulty in providing a holder according to the invention for the working magnets on the telegraph wire for any drum and wire arrangement. The wire can be unwound from one drum and wound onto the other drum in the manner of a roller blind. A magnet system can also be threaded into each strand of a bifilar-wound wire. Furthermore, it is not necessary for special guides to be provided; rather, the telegraph wire can be threaded into a corresponding passage through the magnetic core itself. Such an embodiment is shown in FIGS. 4, 5 and 6. Such an embodiment is particularly suitable when both the magnetic core and the coil are given an elongated cross section. It is useful not to let the wire lie directly against the magnetic core, but rather to place it in a tube t made of glass, quartz, porcelain or the like, which in turn is pressed into the magnetic core.
According to the invention, the holding of the magnet system on the wire does not have to be done by threading it into bush-like guides. In cases where this is disadvantageous, the wire can be arranged between "two plates, which are primarily made of hard and smooth material and in which a notch for receiving the wire is ground. Such an embodiment is shown in Figs. 7, 8 and 9. The plates according to the invention are p and q, which can be connected to one another by screwing by means of bolts r and s. Appropriately, a carrier plate for receiving the magnetic core i is again provided at the lower ends of the screw bolts be interconnected by some other device such as a latch.
Er ist seinerseits an einem zweckmäßig ebenfalls U-förmig ausgebildeten Träger g befestigt, auf welchem auch das Magnetsystem d, e untergebracht ist. iacFIGS. 10 to 15 show a further embodiment of the invention, especially for the telegraphone, with guide rollers and working magnets suspended in the working wire. Here, too, the working wire can perform other movements in addition to the prescribed movements relative to the magnet if the magnet system is rigidly attached to the bracket provided for the rollers. In Fig. 10 and 11, α shows the working wire, b the rollers, c the bracket, d the core and e the coil of the no writing magnet, which are divided into two halves, for example. The telegraph wire α now receives a guide in the U-shaped bracket /, the cross-section of which is shown in Fig. 12, at the positions and B each. This bracket is made here of bronze, for example. In turn, it is attached to a support g , which is also expediently U-shaped and on which the magnet system d, e is also accommodated. iac
Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht nun darin, daß ein Glied h vorgesehen ist, welchesThe essence of the invention is that a member h is provided which

Bewegt sich nämlich diesesBoth on the bracket c at the point C and on the "carrier £ at the point D. In this way it is achieved that the magnet system takes part in the vibrations of the working wire and that in particular the distances between the end faces of the magnet cores and the piece of wire in between do not change, namely if it moves
ίο Drahtstück senkrecht zur Längsrichtung des Drahtes bei einer Biegungsschwingung hin und her, so wird diese Bewegung durch den Bügel/ an der Stellet und B auf den Magneten übertragen.ίο piece of wire perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the wire with a bending oscillation back and forth, this movement is transmitted to the magnet by the bracket / at the position and B.
For such an embodiment of the invention "it is of great importance that the movements of the piece of wire to be magnetized transversely to the longitudinal direction of the wire are not translated by the member h into a movement along the wire. It is necessary that every 'temporal phase of the Speech currents are assigned a specific wire cross-section for the purpose of clear magnetization. Therefore, it must be strictly avoided that the working magnet can vibrate in the direction of the wire running off. In the embodiment shown in Fig In the case of a flexural oscillation of the wire, the end faces of the magnetic cores, which are simultaneously rotated around point C and guided at A and B , are made to slide back and forth in the longitudinal direction of the wire at the rhythm of the oscillations. This disadvantage is the case in Fig. 13 to 15 The illustrated embodiment is eliminated, where the fulcrum is de s member h placed on the bracket c at the point C in the direction of the wire α . Since the flexural vibrations of the work wire have a relatively small amplitude, a displacement of the magnetic cores d in the direction of movement of the work wire is completely avoided in this way. In contrast to FIG. 11, in the further exemplary embodiment the magnet system d, e is attached directly to the hinge-like member h. A special carrier g is therefore superfluous.
Furthermore, the section EF 1 shown in Fig. 15 shows that here, too, it is useful to avoid threading into the magnet guide by providing a plate made of glass or similar material, in which a notch at point G for the purpose of receiving the wire is to be ground in. The piece h , which can be made from gunmetal, also has a corresponding notch which, however, does not need to be ground, since gravity presses the wire against the notch in the carrier fi .
With the inclined arrangement of the magnet guide in space it is achieved that "the inventive elimination 'of the lateral relative movement of the magnet system against the working wire is supported by the one-sided effect of gravity.
The is also effective in the other described and drawn exemplary embodiments gravity acting on one side or another elastic force acting in the same sense (Spring) force such that the transverse vibrations of the wire are reduced will. Furthermore, the effect according to the invention is also here due to the force of gravity favored in that it always presses the wire against the same side in the guides.
The invention is not limited merely to telegraphones using electrical speech currents written down magnetically in the working wire should be; it refers to any kind of establishment in which a developable body is provided in the manner of the telegraphone is which for the purpose of fixing any process optically, chemically or electrochemically being affected. The intensity fluctuations to be fixed can, for example be optical in nature. In this case, the developable body expediently consists of a string which is connected with an optically active layer is prepared. In this case, the writing organ consists of the light source or from a lens arrangement in which the beams to be fixed to be collected. In order to get an undistorted writing, it is according to the invention necessary to switch off all unwanted relative vibrations of the writing organ and the body to be inscribed. Corresponding In the exemplary embodiments discussed, this is done by threading the writing element into the working winding will.
