Breaking News: When You Ring Up Sharon Leal
I wished that I was making this up, but I'm not. I rung up Sharon Leal today!
If you don't know who Sharon Leal is, please google this woman. She played in different movies such as: Dream Girls, This Christmas, Why Did I Get Married?, Why Did I Get Married Too?, etc and TV series such as: Guiding Light, Hellcats, Boston Public, etc.
Now you're all wondering why I am freaking out. So what had happen was... I was at Job #1(Retail) and I wasn't even there that ling until she was in line with her sister (verified on her IG account). At first when I called them up I was like "This girl looks familiar...nah, it couldn't be..." So after I get done with ringing her sister up, it was Sharon turn. She had no makeup on what so ever, just like natural beautiful. I go into my "Hello?" "How are you?" retail voice. She just looked at me for a second before turning her head back down. In my mind I was like "Okay..." As I kept looking at her I knew in my stomach that, that was Sharon Leal,. but I couldn't remember her name to save my life everybody. I knew that she knew that I knew who she was. I even kept thinking it in the back of my mind: "That can't be here, it can't be...." ( I did they a few times looking at her shaking the thoughts out of my head). She was quiet...very....
Sharon brought two things from the junior's department. I did tell her she had 30 days ti return her items. She did say "Okay". But the one thing that I didn't do was ask her if she really was Sharon Leal. Like I can tell (using my Anthropology skills) that she was very quiet and really didn't make eye contact with me really. After the girl's left and I watch then get into a white car and left I turn to face my co-worker Brian and all I can say is:
Me: "That girl..."
Brian: "I know... she looks like that actress, but I can't think of her name".
After our other co-worker got back from break, I made him look her up so that we can get her name and that picture look dead on her. I told everybody I'm gonna Tweet her, IG her, and everything ti see if they was really her. I know some celebrities will respond back to your questions. I hope that she does.
I even did some research on Sharon because I'm trying to figure out why she in Fresno. So after doing some research, come to find out she moved to Fresno when she was younger and she graduated from Roosevelt High School (my mom graduated from the same high school too). Also that her family lives in town still. I knew that I had to tell everybody who I rung up. I told everybody from IG to Facebook. I couple of hours later I get a Tweet notification. and I checked my bell. If you look to the left this is what I message I sent Sharon. The replay was the "heart icon" which is like a like you would see on IG or FB. This right here confirms that I indeed rung up Sharon Leal at my job on New Years Eve 2016. She really made my NYE of 2016 grand.
I really wished that I was bold enough to ask her if that was her in person. I kind of figure out that she just trying to be normal at home and what not. I wouldn't have screamed in the store or anything, just say hi and finally meet her and told her how she is a great actress. Maybe next time. Until next time #Oneselfers!
