The always lovely Paige Turco is heading to CBS‘ Blue Bloods for an episode this February, and only TVLine has the scoop on her upcoming gig…
Turco, most recently seen on The Good Wife and Damages, will appear on Bloods as Patricia Ryan, a detective assigned to investigate a robbery. But when Selleck’s Reagan asks to discuss the case with her, he begins to question whether or not they’ve arrested the right person.
Turco’s episode airs Feb. 9 at 10/9c.
In other TV News today:
• Robert De Niro‘s cop drama pilot Rookies has been given a green light by CBS, says Deadline. The Manhattan-based series is executive produced by the movie vet.
• Booo! EW.com reports that Glee‘s Sam and Quinn will soon split. “I got bored. They were too perfect,” Ryan Murphy tells the site. And that’s not all! “He starts dating Santana.” Is there a dislike button for this?
• At least Glee‘s Valentine’s episode song list makes us happy. Per TV Guide Magazine, we can look forward to Katy Perry’s “Firework”, Queen’s “Fat Bottomed Girls”, Babes In Arms’ “My Funny Valentine” and more.
• Also in Deadline‘s arsenal of scoop, ABC will soon trim five minutes off of Nightline and add tack them on to Jimmy Kimmel Live, per his new two-year contract.

There has already been a series “Rookies” back in the 70’s and A&E had a series following real “Rookies” in Louisianna and Florida. Think there will be a name change for De Niro’s project?
I have an irrational like for Paige Turco. Love her. She was great in the few shows of Life on Mars just before it went off air.
Wait, did you just say that April O’Neil is joining Blue Bloods?
Well Ryan Murphy might have gotten bored with Sam and Quinn but I’m not bored watching them! They are so adorable together and there are other ways to keep couples interesting than breaking them up.
