Legacies actress Bianca Kajlich is the latest name to board Supernatural prequel series The Winchesters.
Gearing up to shoot its pilot for The CW, this one chronicles the "epic, untold" story between Sam and Dean Winchester's parents John and Mary, and "how they put it all on the line to not only save their love, but the entire world".
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Kajlich will play Millie, John's mother.

She's described as "hard-working and tough and has done the bulk of parenting in her family for the past 15 years".
"She has always worried John, a Vietnam veteran, would take after his father and wanted to prevent him from pursuing a dangerous life," the character description continues. "She is now coming to grips with the fact that this is exactly what John plans to do."
Jensen Ackles, who'll return as Dean in a narrating capacity, said at the time of the spinoff's announcement: "After Supernatural wrapped its 15th season, we knew it wasn't over. Because like we say in the show, 'Nothing ever really ends, does it?'
"When [his wife] Danneel and I formed Chaos Machine Productions, we knew the first story we wanted to tell was the story of John and Mary Winchester, or rather the Supernatural origin story. I always felt like my character, Dean, would have wanted to know more about his parents' relationship and how it came to be."
