Honestly disappointed
DesignerRiskyIceklaw103· Review provided by LEGO · December 28, 2024
I thought the idea of this was really fun and exciting, that is what got me to buy this product right away but the building experience was just not it .

I found that there was no support on the base of this product therefore it kept on breaking and it was getting on my nerves quite a lot as I had to resemble the space ship many of times , and even then I couldn’t get it to fully assemble.

After that disaster , I decided to try the spaceman as I’ve been doing this set for atleast 2 hours I might as well make something out of it , and even then I was not fully amazed by the final product , the LEGO still fell apart while assembling snd when I finally got it to a completed spaceman, ghe legs of it struggled to even stand on it its own :(

Including this the amount of pieces still remaining was honestly heartbreaking as I knew I had no use for them because the spaceship just wouldn’t assemble

I love Lego and I was really excited to build this set but unfortunately it was more a relief to finish the product than to actually be happy about building it fully .
Best $10 Lego Set Ever Made
Fresh Squeezed Lightning· Review provided by LEGO · March 3, 2024
I'm not exaggerating, this is probably the best $10 Lego Set that has ever been put into production. The design to piece-count ratio for this set for the price is great. It's also a highly useful parts pack with a ton of smooth/tile pieces. The astronaut secondary build is really fun, and the extra parts can be used to make a boneyard for ship parts as if they crash landed. The Space Jet thing, tertiary build is a bit less interesting but has some fun building techniques. There are enough pieces leftover to build another small secondary ship during that build. I have been a Lego builder since I was 4 years old. I am 33 now, so when I say this is the best $10 set I've seen, it means a whole lot to me!
Such a cute set for only 10 bucks and 144 pieces

If you compare this to other 3in1 sets, this one doesn’t really stand out (I almost decided not to buy it lol 😆), partly because of the bland cover on the box, the angle makes the shuttle look tiny and the cargo doors are closed.

However, when I bought it, the shuttle was larger than expected, and that's great! It's cheap, but it looks soooo good and very durable too. The astronaut (it looks like a large robot) looks really nice, can't complain. While the shuttle looks great, the spaceship is a bit plain and is kinda underwhelming. I think it needs some more work, but that hardly matters as the shuttle is the main selling point of this set
Exceptional Quality

I've been fortunate to have owned and built many of the space shuttle sets that Lego has put out over the years. When Discovery (10283) was released, it was an immediate purchase and a joy to build, but once completing it, it has sat in my display against the other large-scale space models.

Not this one. This was a joy to assemble (I built the two alternates as well), and one of the best designed sets I've built for the price and the size, and even then one of the best designed sets at any price point. Lego just keeps getting better. Since purchasing, I have rebuilt the shuttle a half-dozen times, memorizing the build, to relax. Each time, I become more and more astounded about the care and craft that went into the main model, and then layer on the additional builds? Exquisite model and build quality, and an amazing look and style. You're getting the same high quality as a $200 set, but for a fraction of the price without compromising on enjoyment.

I built my own dynamic display stand for it. It seriously is that good.
