My first purchase was the Frasier Fir candle. It just smelt like Christmas, bringing the room to life. I'm addicted to candles with "manly" scents, and while they don't have things like "baseball mitt leather" or "motor oil", they have a wide range of wood- and smoke-inspired scents. These aren't the scented candles your mom used in the 90s.

The cherry on the top is the "hearthwick" wick they use; it admittedly doesn't sound anything like a fireplace, but it's unique cracking sound adds to the ambience. It's also very wide, allowing it to burn wax at a greater rate and hence giving a stronger scent than a single-wick or even three-wick candle. It sets the mood for a number of activities, whether it's reading a book, playing a relaxing video game, or just sitting around with friends.

It can't recreate the feeling of sitting around a campfire in the mountains, but it's the next best thing. They are a bit expensive, but they last a long time and I've bought several more since that initial purchase.

Woodwick Candles are the best on the market and Walmart offers the best price. Fraser Fir is one of my favorites. Makes the whole house smell amazing without the heavy perfumes other brands do. The crackling sound while burning is something they are known for. Woodwick Candles are much healthier to burn and they last an extremely long time as well. Highly recommend. You wont be disappointed.

I feel bad that I didn't enjoy this more. It was an OK tree scent. Yankee has a competitive lineup for that and I guess I felt this was a little too pure / one note. I was interested in the woodwick experience I hadn't had in a while because it's like a tiny fireplace, but I'd forgotten how loud it can kind of be as a background noise, and their lineup is SO limited. So it was good to try it again but definitely won't be purchasing more from WoodWick.

I love Woodwick brand candles, the scents are consistent and long lasting not like some candles that are colored and the fragrance doesn't last. They crackle and it can be heard when things are quiet. The glass jars and elliptical containers clean up nicely and can be reused and repurposed because the candle burns so completely.
