I'm a candle junkie and burn them all the time when home. My Mom was, too, so I think I "inherited" that trait and it just makes things feel homier when lit. I tried this one around New Year's Day and love the Winter-inspired scents!! I burns clean and right to the bottom of the hourglass jar. I was excited for each layer to hit and continued to be pleasantly surprised by the warm, wintery and crisp scents. This one is an A+ in my books. The crackling wood wicks are almost like having a firepit in your house. I have kitties, so top it with on of Yankee's beautiful candle shades to keep everyone safe! These wood wicks cost a bit more but are so worth it if you're a outdoorsy, walk-in-the-woods type of home!!! You can HEAR the crackling!

I ordered 2 trilogy candles (winter garland and frazer fir) which arrived in great shape and very quickly. The problems started when trying to light them...and keeping them lit! The crackling wicks could not hold a flame and seemed to sit quite low in the wax. The only way to keep the flame going was to tip the candle to remove some of the liquid wax, causing that to creep up the glass and under the solid wax. After 20 minutes of fussing with it all I gave up and shut everything down. I've had one other trelogy candle 3 or 4 years ago and never had an issue like this. Am going back to large jar candles! The only good thing about the trelogy ones is their fantasticly wonderful smell.....even when not lit!

I ordered 2 of the Ww Trilogy candles for my Mom as a gift. When I received the order I picked up the box and heard shards of glass rattling around in the box. When I opened the box to my dismay the candles were not protected and absolutley no bubble wrap or any protection whatsoever was in the box. One Candle was completely shattered. Melted wax from the other candle was smeared all over. Whoever packed them needs to be fired because they don't care about their job. It is a hassle with Kohls to try and get a refund. I WON'T ever order anything from Kohls online because of this experience

I knew I loved the individual scents in this trilogy so I expected to enjoy them together. I usually don’t buy the combination type candles but this was so festive that I bought it to burn Christmas Day. The scent combinations are wonderful together, a bit of berries and pine… really beautiful and festive. I reuse the containers so I’m excited for the unique shape, however I would recommend the hourglass shape over the ellipse shape. The large wick does sound more crackly than the hourglass jars but these burn so quickly that for the same price, the hourglass shape is so much more worth the money. I burned this all day on Christmas and was down to about a third left to use up halfway through the next day. Two days of use isn’t really worth the price point to me even for the relaxing sounds. Also, after the colors melted and combined it ended up looking like a brownish chocolate milk color, very muddy. Scent wise this is amazing and was a nice splurge for the holidays but I wouldn’t buy this shape again.
